The UNITEST PSV3D Engine Room Simulator has been based on typical solutions, being presently used in platform supply vessels engine rooms (four, four-stroke type main engines with reduction gears and controllable pitch propellers).

This simulator is designated for training students of maritime academies as well as for different types of marine vocational training centers. The simulator has universal features and may be used both for training merchant and navy fleet crew. The main purpose of the simulator is the practical preparation of the trainee for engine room operation.

 

The UNITEST DE3D Engine Room Simulator has been based on typical solutions, being presently used in diesel electric platform supply vessels engine rooms (four diesel generators, two main azimuth thruster, one retractable thruster and one bow thruster).

The marine training software package’s aim is to teach the basic principles of how to operate marine power plant equipment. The programmes offered are intended for training cadets and marine engineers.

The educational package is based on the solutions being actually used on ships. The machinery and system in the simulation exercises are realistic to allow acquisition of real skills.
